Rooms to View is one week away, and here’s a look at another stunning home and property on this year’s tour.

This circa 1810 Georgian-style farmhouse sits on nearly six acres fronting the Monocacy Creek, with several intact original outbuildings. The home was remodeled in 2003, nearly doubling the interior space, with recent work done within the original footprint. Inside, you’ll discover a variety of artwork, including several pieces made out of LEGOS!

The stunning outdoor living space includes a wraparound deck, terraced grounds, bluestone patio, formal koi pond, fountains, rose garden and even a bridge over the creek.

This is just one of the 10 beautiful and historic Lehigh Valley homes on the 2026 Rooms to View House and Garden Tour. Don’t miss out on all of the style, beauty and design – get your tickets today at https://tinyurl.com/4btsadmr.

We look forward to seeing everyone on June 5-6.

Travel + Leisure just named Pennsylvania the top destination in the country for Fourth of July, and Bethlehem is front and center.

In a feature published this week, Travel + Leisure highlighted Historic Bethlehem as the ideal alternative for travelers who want history without the crowds. The Ales & Tales Revolutionary Pub Tour and Bethlehem and the Revolution tour are both highlighted, along with the Moravian Church Settlements–Bethlehem World Heritage Site and its collection of original buildings.

"Larger cities connected to the American Revolution are going to be jam-packed," said LoriAnn Wukitsch, president and CEO of Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites, in the article. "Bethlehem offers a great, less crowded, but still history-filled, destination that's a short drive from both New York and Philadelphia."

Ales & Tales kicks off Saturday, June 6. Bethlehem and the Revolution begins Friday, June 5. Reserve your spot now to create your own historic weekend: https://tinyurl.com/4w5evtty

Travel experts agree: Pennsylvania is the ultimate Fourth of July destination in 2026. Pennsylvania offers authentic historical sites where visitors can experience the nation's founding firsthand.

One of our most popular art workshops is back!

Join us at the Grist Miller’s House for a hands-on Redware Sgraffito Workshop with Master Artisan Denise Wilz this coming Saturday, May 30, and again on Oct. 10, from 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Using techniques practiced by 18th- and 19th-century Pennsylvania German potters, you’ll create your own 7-inch redware plate, choosing a traditional design or crafting something uniquely yours. Your piece will be glazed and fired after the workshop, ready for pickup in a few weeks.

Whether you’re a longtime artist/maker or just looking to try something new, this is a chance to connect with history in a truly special way.

Spots are limited, so register today: https://tinyurl.com/2sw7vzfc

Every year, Rooms to View opens doors that are never otherwise open to the public. This year, the 34th annual House & Garden Tour is extending its reach into Upper Bucks County, and the Bucks County Herald took notice.

The 2026 tour stretches from Bethlehem's own neighborhoods into the Durham and Riegelsville corridor, where a circa 1780 farmhouse, a historic mill with roots in the Revolutionary War era, and a private general store that has never been open to tours are all on the route.

Tickets for the Saturday, June 6 tour are $50 for the public and $40 for HBMS members. Preview Party tickets for Friday, June 5 are $160 and include Saturday tour admission, a live performance by acclaimed Martin Guitar artist Craig Thatcher, a raffle entry for a Martin Guitar instrument, and complimentary admission to the Martin Guitar Museum.
