This historic Neuweiler Brewery delivery truck once carried beer through the streets of Allentown during the early days of American brewing and industry. 🚚🍻

Now, it’s part of Cheers to 250: Brewing in America at the National Museum of Industrial History, where stories of brewing, transportation, manufacturing, and innovation all come together.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the opening of Cheers to 250: Brewing in America this weekend at NMIH ⚙️

From brewing demonstrations and live music to curator tours, steam engine demos, local brewers, homebrewers, collectors, and community partners, the museum was full of energy all day long.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who helped bring this exhibit to life and everyone who raised a glass with us on opening day 🍺✨

Missed the celebration? Don’t worry! Cheers to 250 will be on display at the National Museum of Industrial History through March 2027.

Join us for the opening celebration of Cheers to 250: Brewing in America at the National Museum of Industrial History ⚙️

We’re filling the museum with brewing demonstrations, tastings, live music, food, historic machinery, and hands-on experiences all day long.

🚂 Full Steam Ahead rolled into NMIH this week ⚙️

From live locomotive demonstrations and cab tours aboard Dinkey 🚂 to operating model train layouts, rare rail films, and hands-on activities, the museum was packed with all things trains for NMIH train day.

Guests explored railroad history across every scale, from miniature layouts to the massive machines that once powered industry here in Bethlehem.

🚜 Tug, our 25,000 lb Bethlehem Steel tow tractor, was out on the plaza
🎥 Rare railfan footage played throughout the day
⚙️ Families got hands-on with train-themed crafts and activities

Big thanks to everyone who joined us for a day full of steam, steel, and rail history.
