Exciting changes are coming to the Howard County Library! The library will be undergoing a small renovation set to begin Monday, May 18 and continue through mid-August 2026. The library will remain open during construction, though some services and access may temporarily change. Improvements will include updated restrooms, new flooring and paint, improved lighting, added study spaces, and a refreshed children’s area. While the main-floor restrooms and the basement will be unavailable throughout the project, there will be temporary restrooms available outside the library. Follow our page and website for updates throughout the project.
