This Wednesday, for our new Wonder Labs, we'll be hosting our first "Page to Stage", a brand-new way for kids to experience their favorite books!

Instead of just sitting and listening, the kids are in the director's chair. We’ll start by presenting two or three different stories, and the group will vote on which one they want to bring to life.

Once the winner is picked, the real fun begins! We’ll give out simple prompts and props so the kids can "act out" the plot as the characters themselves.

It’s a great way to build confidence, get some energy out, and look at storytelling in a whole new way. Come help us decide which story takes the stage this week!

Looking for the ultimate hands-on summer experience? Join us on Mondays and Wednesdays for our brand-new Wonder Labs! These guided sessions rotate through four exciting themes: Art Exploration, STEAM Investigations, Sound Waves, and Page to Stage.

Catch our independent Tabletop Activities from 10:45-11:45AM and 1:30-2:30PM, or dive into a 20–30 minute Direct Guided Experience at 10:45AM or 1:30PM.

Today, the Kids Colonial Faire kicked off our summer celebration of 250 Years!

Hundreds of visitors enjoyed colonial games, crafts and activities as well as two interactive theatrical performances by Kit’s Interactive Theater. Patriotic songs filled the air in the Story Garden as visitors enjoyed a special bubble show and participated in a Maypole Dance.

Ye Olde Cornerstone Café, manned by WEIS Markets, supplied a colonial menu for our visitors and the day was topped off by a special birthday cake and vanilla ice cream for our guests!

Thank you to the Broome-Tioga BOCES welding students who recently completed making six bike racks for the new carousel area at Ross Park - and to the Broome County Health Department for supporting this project!

Under the direction of their instructor John Shear, the students designed the bike racks, including a carousel horse in the center. Welding is a critical trade in high demand and we are fortunate that Broome-Tioga BOCES offers such an exceptional program!
