Shop 51 If you enjoy industrial art, steampunk, recycled, repurposed, reused, upcycled and art made from old car parts, please check out my page.

From an early age I have always had an interest in making something from nothing! As with many artists, my interests have changed several times over the years. My current interest or maybe we should call it an obsession is creating works of art from old car parts, repurposing items from flea markets, garage sales, estate sales and sometimes even a great trash find! Due to the material I work with,

most of my items are One-Of-A-Kind creations and may never be duplicated. All items are for sale, With the exception of a few that stay in my shop or travel home by order of my wife! Something I do a little different.... Most items will have a brief description 'A Salvage Story' included. This gives the buyer a little history of there investment. Stay tuned to my page, I will be sharing items for sale, sharing some great finds, taking you guys along on some of my picking adventures VIA pictures or videos and maybe even some cool contests with people that share my same interests. Thanks for checking out my new page, I promise there will be something for everyone.

Every art project starts with the hunt.

Nothing shows up on my doorstep — it starts with picking, digging, and sourcing.

Living in Lancaster County is a blessing. Mud sales, a local tradition, are packed with history and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Some folks give me strange looks when they hear I’m buying antiques to cut up and weld into art…

Guess that makes me the red-headed stepchild of the antique world.

But sometimes breaking the rules creates the coolest things.

When building custom lamps at SHOP 51, the art isn’t just on the outside. The sockets, wiring, and switches inside matter just as much as the gears, steel, and vintage parts you see.

Using high-quality lighting components keeps every piece safe, reliable, and built to last—because functional art should work as good as it looks.

Old parts. New light. Built right.
