Every new layer covers something.
It also creates something new.

In Rock “CYFI” Martinez’s work, aerosol, repetition and gesture transform the surface into something constantly shifting.

Concealment or revelation?

Perhaps both.

Look closer.

Thread. Texture. Fragment. Paint.

Brandi Kole’s work reveals itself slowly; one layer giving way to another.

The surface never tells the whole story.

What can a surface remember?

Brandi Kole builds through textile, thread, paint and accumulated fragments; layering material, memory and identity.

In FACADE, what appears on the surface is only the beginning.

NEW TO THE ARTEMIZIA FOUNDATION COLLECTION: It Can’t Happen Here by Shepard Fairey, acquired from Turner Carroll Gallery.

It Can’t Happen Here references Sinclair Lewis’s 1935 novel of the same name, a work examining the rise of authoritarianism in the United States.

Fairey has described the piece as a call to take threats to democratic institutions and freedoms seriously, specifically citing free speech, assembly and due process among the principles he believes require vigilance.

Artemizia Foundation is proud to announce the acquisition of Shepard Fairey’s original artwork, It Can’t Happen Here (2026), acquired from Turner Carroll Gallery.
