The Gallery at the Greenly Center Mission Statement

The Gallery at the Greenly Center is a platform for the Department of Art and Art History to share visual and conceptual ideas with the broader Bloomsburg community including both the university and the town. The gallery’s focus is on exhibiting the work made by students within the department as well as allowing students to curate and experience

the process of running a professional gallery. The gallery will also show exhibitions of professional artists and designers from outside the area coinciding with the curriculum of the Department of Art and Art History. The Greenly Gallery aims to initiate dialog between the members of the Bloomsburg community and the students from the Department of art and Art History in order to elevate the visual and cultural conversation.

We had a tremendous turnout for Meredith Grimsley's "We All Feel It" reception. Thank you to our students and faculty as well as the larger community for showing up. We are grateful to Meredith for sharing her compelling story and artwork. The exhibit will be on view until April 17th.

Join us during downtown Bloomsburg's First Friday event, April 3rd 5-7pm. The artist will be available for conversation around her work.
We will also host a reception April 7th 11am-2pm with an artist talk at 1pm in the gallery.
