We recently spent some time with a couple we have known through the art fair scene for years. It was heartwarming to watch how the one took such great care of the other - we found later that one of them was having early signs of memory issues. I wrote this song for them - it kind of tells their story. I call the song "Melting Away"

For those of you who have asked if I teach classes - well the answer is YES, I teach at the Dunedin Fine Art Center, right here in Dunedin, Florida. I teach a Monday evening class 6p to 9p but the studio is open from 5p to 9p.

If you have been thinking about taking my class, it is time to sign up. This 6 week session will focus on bottle forms. They can be finished with cone 6 oxidation studio glazes available right here at DFAC or you may choose to finish them with crystalline glazes on week 5. Week 6 is dedicated to finishing the bottoms and having a group critique about glaze results.

Just watched this beautiful documentary about two friends, it is sweet and full of kindness and hope as two people explore Harper's journey as a trans woman. Simply beautiful.
