Kuhlman-King House/ BAHPS

FREE tours every 2nd and 4th Saturday each month (Noon to 3 PM)

We are a Non-profit museum operated by the Boerne Area Historical Preservation Society whose goal is preserving Boerne’s treasured local history for the education and enjoyment of the public.

Interested in being part of a blending of Boerne culture? Help the Kuhlmann King Historic House Museum create a Boerne Community Rag Rug!!
Bring strips of fabric to be recycled into a rug. An old sheet, a pair of old jeans, or unused fabric. The rug will be displayed at the museum when completed.
Participants will braid strips of fabric and using a needle and thread, connect the strands together.

This will be such a sweet event at the Kuhlmann King! Help us to create a community braided rag rug.
Participants are asked to bring 3 feet strips of fabric to be braided. We will provide the rest of the materials.
Space is limited so message us to hold a seat for you around the table!

The Boerne Area Historic Preservation Society would like to acknowledge the enormous contribution to local historic preservation made by Bette Edmonds, who recently passed away.
Bettie Edmonds served as BAHPS president, and worked extensively with our historical archives. A talented artist, Bettie was well known for her pen and ink sketches of Kendall County historic buildings and homes. Thank you Bettie Edmonds!

Mr. Kuhlman says, “Come on down on Saturday from noon to 3 pm.” The first resident of the house, William Kuhlman built the home for his new bride Marie.
Visit our three buildings with 3,000 local historic artifacts.

Visiting the Kuhlman King House is an interesting way to spend time on a Saturday!
