Beverly’s Story

Art has been a passion of mine since I was eleven years old. Today, I have my own business, Chick Artistic Creations, where I work as a freelance artist and art teacher. I exhibit and sell my art in several shows & comic cons throughout the year, mostly in the northwest area, and I do commissioned portraits and illustration art.

I am a mixed media artist who works primarily with colored pencil and Turpenoid. However, I like to combine this with other mediums such as acrylic, watercolor & pastel. About the only medium I don’t work in is oils.

Although a lot of my art is focused on animals, I also do science fiction and comic con related artwork. I enjoy writing and illustration fan fiction stories. A Doctor Who story called “Destiny’s Detour” was been published on a fan fiction website called Mixital (based out of the UK) I have also written and illustrated several animal based comic books--”Funny Felines”, “Crazy Canines”, Comical Cat Poems, and Pixel’s Star Trek Adventure. I sell these comic books at local comic cons in the northwest area.
