Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology held a fascinating and detailed presentation on fossils of the Bruneau Woodpile and surrounding area. The lecturer, Nathan E. Carpenter, has tremendous knowledge of fossils. He is curator of Paleontology and Research Associate at the Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History, The College of Idaho, Caldwell. Nate brought numerous fossils along and placed them on display. So much information and so much to see!
