Yesterday we received this gift of a desk fan that was used in the home office of County Judge Choice Moore. It is a beautiful thing and powerful! Not up to today's safety standards I suppose.

The Museum was happy to have a homeschool group for a tour yesterday. The kids were especially interested in our fossil and arrowhead collection, the fire truck and the airplane. Great group!

The Museum is delighted to have partnered with the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin for their display on Texas Courthouse Architecture. We loaned a piece of the 1888 Fannin County courthouse (see below). The exhibit will run through the end of the year. If you are in Austin, stop by to see it.

The Museum was happy to welcome visitors from right here in Bonham for a tour on Tuesday! Some of their favorite exhibits included the antique cooking items and the many vintage fire department items, including the fire truck!

The Museum was happy to welcome students from Fannindel High School's Dual Credit History Class for a tour on Friday. These students got to get up close with artifacts from WWII, learn more about their local history, and even spend some time in the caboose.
