Today, I came downstairs after our monthly members’ meeting and found, much to my surprise, that the legendary Alton Higgins was visiting the NABC with his family!
Alton is a retired wildlife biologist, a longtime Bigfoot researcher, and a founding member of the North American Wood Ape Conservancy. And if all that weren’t enough, he’s an extraordinarily good dude.
You never know who you might run into at the NABC when you stop by...

This is a first generation copy of the original cast which is in the collection of Cliff Barackman.
The impression was found on the back of a rural property outside Keuterville, ID by a 13-year old boy who lived there. The property was experiencing ongoing activity which included brief sightings of the creatures.

This impression, which was left in wet mud, was the best one from a trackway leading into the woods. Brian Smith, a sasquatch researcher from Walla Walla, WA, cast the footprint while doing an onsite investigation.

The cast is considered one of the best ever taken from Idaho. The toes show what is called the "mushroom effect," which is a bulging of the fat pad on the bottom of the foot as weight is pressed downwards, forcing the pad laterally into the substrate. There are also possible faint dermatoglyphics visible along the edges.
