Have you noticed your debit rounding up at dispensaries?

Cannabis transactions are processed differently than most retail — they run more like ATM withdrawals. Because of ongoing federal restrictions and recent system changes, dispensaries across the country are currently experiencing rounding to $10 or even $20.

This isn’t specific to one location — it’s a broader industry issue.

It’s a small but real example of how policy still shapes the cannabis experience today.

Are you attending NECANN? Stop by the Justice Row and say hello 👋 will be there!

At Core, we preserve the untold history of cannabis—its culture, science, and the deep impact of prohibition.

Our story is built on lived experience:
🧑🏽‍🦱 81% minority-owned,
👱🏼‍♀️72% women-owned, and with 👫 investors who have collectively served 10+ years incarcerated.

That’s why we’re proud to stand alongside Justice Row, powered by , at conference in .

Justice Row isn’t just an exhibit—it’s a movement. Created by 40 Tons, this initiative gives justice-impacted entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their businesses, connect with the industry, and create real economic opportunities in the space they fought for.

But overt violence can be a tough pill to swallow. Are the lives lost to the system less valuable than the CEO’s? Is this the selfless act of a revolutionary or cold blooded murder?
