Student-managed galleries offer students an opportunity to share their work with the MassArt community and the public. The novice as well as the experienced exhibitor will gain valuable experience from exhibiting in the student galleries
. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to gain exposure and skills necessary for your professional life. Student exhibitors must complete a student galleries proposal form in order to be eligible for exhibiting. The spaces we manage are the Student Life Gallery, and the North Crackatorium. We also manage and curate public space shows (2nd Floor Hallways, the bookstore, and Info Desk display case). Student Life Gallery
Located on the 2nd floor of the Kennedy building, this space is available to groups of four or more enrolled undergraduate students. The space features moveable walls, overhead lighting, and pedestals. It can accommodate large-scale 2D or 3D work. North Crackatorium
Located on the 1st floor of the North building, this space is available to groups or solo shows of enrolled undergraduate students. The space features pedestals, and two movable partitions, and its central location makes it quite accessible and versatile. This space can accommodate large-scale 2D or 3D work, and installations. The bookstore and both hallways on the second floor of the Kennedy Building are able to accommodate 2D work.
