Boston Society of Architects

Boston Society of Architects BSA is a diverse community committed to improving quality of life for all through architecture.

05/28/2026

For more than 50 years, the BSA Foundation has worked to connect people to architecture through education, public programs, exhibitions, and civic engagement.

📣Today, we’re excited to share our new name: Architecture in Common.

While our name is changing, our mission remains the same: advancing our belief that architecture belongs to everyone and that design has the power to shape a more equitable, resilient, and connected Boston.

Designing the future, one big idea at a time! 💡 Last week, visited the Boston Society for Architecture for a hands-on deep dive into the world of design. 🤩 Using the “ask, learn, make, and share” framework to guide them, Girl Scouts navigated through the full design process, from brainstorming and sketching floor plans to building 3D models and presenting them to their peers.

Along the way, they strengthened several skills that extend beyond architecture itself. 🏙️ After completing this innovative program, each Girl Scout walked away with real-world experience in collaboration, creative problem-solving, communication, and confidence. Great job, Girl Scouts! 👏💚👏
