Union Pacific's "City of Las Vegas" traverses a canyon circa 1957. The General Motors Aerotrain was utilized for the service's first year of service, but proved unreliable. UP quickly reverted to streamlined passenger equipment to run the City of Las Vegas and later Las Vegas Holiday Specials.

Our excursion train operates this weekend on Saturday and Sunday with departures at 10:00am, 12:00pm, and 2:00pm. Each 10 mile round-trip journey lasts 45 minutes. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children. Tickets available at www.boulderrailroadmuseum.org

While Rafael Construction addresses items from the punch list walk at the Visitor Center, we took a trip out to Yesco to check on the exhibit fabrication. Exhibit fabrication will continue through mid-August when installation will take place.

🚧Construction Update🚧

The clock on the welcome plaza has finally been installed! This week also saw the parking lot sealed and striped, and the communication tower erected. The tower is a joint project between the museum and Nevada System of Higher Education that will facilitate communication and high speed internet access for both institutions.
