I've just returned from a week-long photo trip to the Great North. Starting north of Duluth, Minnesota, near the Canadian border, I swung east through Michigan's Upper Peninsula and ended up in Door Country Wisconsin. I froze my butt off and hu**ed a lot of hills, but I came back with some photos of waterfalls and long-exposure seascapes I hope you will like.

I like shooting in black and white because it's moodier. The eye tends to be distracted by all the colors in a color photo. In B&W it's all about how you present the subject matter. Here, I'm looking for an ethereal look.
