Join us for a Haunted Walk at Aptucxet, happening every night October 22–31 from dusk until 9 PM! 🎃

Follow the signs and enjoy a self-guided walk through the property featuring eerie displays, “haunted” ships, and great photo opportunities. It’s a fun Halloween activity for all ages, with no jump scares or live actors — just a festive walk to enjoy at your own pace!

📍 Aptucxet, 6 Aptucxet Road, Bourne, MA�🕸️ Every night, October 22–31 | Dusk–9 PM�🎟️ Free entry — come as you please!�➡️ Follow the signs to the walk, which begins at the Aptucxet entrance side of the property. Access is also available from Canal Road.�💛 Donations are welcome!

🏴‍☠️ Make a true night of it on October 30 during our Ghost Pirates event, featuring a visit from the Rhode Island Pirate Guy sharing tales of pirates from New England!
Bring the family, grab your camera, and stop by if you dare! 👻📸

👻🏴‍☠️ GHOST PIRATES AT APTUCXET 🏴‍☠️👻

This Halloween season, step into the darker side of pirate history at the Museums at Aptucxet!

Join us with the RI Pirate Guy on Friday, October 30 at 7:00 PM as he takes us back to the Golden Age of Piracy and shares stories of the pirates of New England—some of whom may still roam this mortal world...

Learn about real pirate life, ships, weapons, tactics, politics, ghosts, curses, and of course… hidden treasure! 🏴‍☠️💀

🔥 Gather around the campfire, enjoy s’mores and refreshments, and prepare for a few spooky stories along the way. This event is geared toward teens and adults, and some scariness should be expected!

🎃 Come in costume or come as you are!

Mark your calendars for the Cranberry Harvest Festival at the Museums at Aptucxet on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM!

Presented by the Bourne Historical Society, this free event is the perfect way to spend a fall Saturday with family and friends.

✨ What can you expect?
• 🛍️ 25+ vendors with crafts, handmade items, crochet, jewelry, photography, baked goods, home décor, and more
• 🍔 Food and beverages available for purchase from our grill
• 🏛️ A chance to explore the Museums at Aptucxet and experience local history
• 🍂 Children’s activities for our younger visitors
• 📖 Cranberry-themed StoryWalks along the museum trails
• 🌿 Plenty of space to wander, shop, explore, and enjoy the beautiful historic grounds

Whether you’re looking to find something unique from a local maker, enjoy some good food, keep the kids entertained, or simply spend a fall day surrounded by history, there will be something for everyone!
