Confirmed Tornado in Berks County, Pennsylvania...

The National Weather Service office in Mount Holly NJ has concluded a storm survey for some areas in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

A confirmed EF-0 tornado occurred in Amity Township with peak winds to 70 mph on 7/1 at around 4:47 PM. In addition, a rear-flank downdraft with straight-line winds up to 70 mph occurred and continued northeastward toward Boyertown and then to the north side of Gilbertsville (Montgomery County).

More details of the survey will be available via a Public Information Statement later this evening or on Thursday.
