Island Gallery and Studios Closing Announcement
After more than 30 wonderful years serving the Anna Maria Island community and almost 3
years at our current location in downtown Bradenton, Island Gallery and Studios will be closing
its doors. Due to decreased foot traffic and the current economic challenges, we have made
the difficult decision to officially close at the end of the business day on Thursday, February 26,
2026.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to all of our members, customers, and patrons who
have supported us throughout the years. Your encouragement and loyalty have meant the
world to us and have helped shape our journey.
To mark our closing, we will be hosting a closing sale beginning on Saturday, February 21 and
continuing through Thursday, February 26. We invite everyone to join us for these sale days for
special offers and to celebrate the memories we’ve made together.

It is with heavy hearts that we share some sad news. After almost 35 wonderful years in business, Island Gallery and Studios will be closing its doors.

From our beginnings on beautiful Anna Maria Island to our more recent move to Main Street in Bradenton, this gallery has been so much more than a space on a map — it has been a creative home, a gathering place, and a celebration of art and community.

We are deeply grateful to all of our loyal customers, old and new, who supported us through the years. Your encouragement, friendships, and love of art made every exhibition, reception, and First Friday so special.

A heartfelt thank you as well to the many talented gallery artists who poured their creativity, passion, and countless hours into making Island Gallery and Studios a venue we were truly proud of.

We invite you to come visit us one more time this month, share memories, and take advantage of special discounted artwork as we celebrate the legacy we built together.

If you are stuck in your current painting or are having trouble deciding whether or not it's finished, come join us as we introduce you to Critique Corner.

The classes start off with amazing discussions on how a beginning artist can become a better artist with many routes discussed. All being appropriate at certain stages, with trial and error being a very important step.
Think about joining us. Come SIT & SIP (coffee available), and join the fun at Island Gallery & Studios for these free interactive discussion sessions
on what makes a good piece of art.

Critique Corner has presented itself as a very enriching experience
for everyone involved! Some comments were
