We opened Raitman Art Galleries (formerly Art on a Whim) in 2007 with a unique idea for an art gallery: Art should be fun. Art should be accessible. More than anything, art should make us smile. Our gallery is a family-owned operation, something we see as being part of the American fabric. We show museum-quality, all American art from the finest artists our state has to offer. esting techniques and a touch of whimsy characterize our galleries. Most of our artists are from right here in Colorado and all of them are like family to us. Our Colorado centered collection constantly awes and inspires our visitors. We love sharing our collection with you and are happy to ship or deliver work all over the world. We are thankful for David Jonason's visit this weekend. We have known of his work for a long time, and it is an honor to add him to our gallery and our fabulous group of transcendental artists. Known for his naturally geometric stylized renditions of the southwest, we are excited for his continued exploration of the Rockies.

David V. Gonzales's new show, Timelines, is now up and ready to view! If you have graced our gallereis in the last dacade, you have seen David's athletes, wildlife, landscapes, portraits... his subject matters, across the board. What links them is his action heavy brushstrokes, full of energy. This new series is that of intuitive abstraction. This collection feels like an ode to the natural forces that are intangible. It is an exploration of color and movement. In true David style, these pieces are bursting with energy!

One of our newest artists, Cie Hoover, will be joining us at our north Breckenridge gallery this Friday, March 13th, from 3-7 and again Saturday, March 14th, from 12-3.
