The Bremond Historical Museum will be hosting a Tour of Historical Homes on November 15, 2025 from 1-5 pm. There will be six properties for the tour and four properties for a street view tour. The museum will be serving refreshments.

House #1—-The Stachowiak House, 117 S. Austin St., owners Larry and Cindy Murray
Built in 1893, one of the oldest remaining historic homes in Bremond. Ask about the shootout!
House #2—-The Rehberg Place, 210 W. Jack St., owners Danny and Nikki Screws
Built in 1910 this home has been in the same family since it was built. Nikki’s mother was born in this house!
House #3—-The Bartula House, 437 Bielamowicz Rd, owners Mark Czajkoski
Tracing back to the son of the original Polish immigrant family Joseph and Cathryn Bartula, beautiful property setting with loads of history!
House #4—-Nana’s House, 106 FM 46, owners Mary Jim Carroll Allen
Built in 1886, this beautiful property has been in the same family for 140 years!
House #5—the Pietrowicz House, 110 E. Colorado St., owners Danny and Maxine Burge
Built before 1925 this 100 year old gem has been lovingly restored by the Burge family!
Site #6— St. Mary’s Church, 715 N. Main St., Christmas Nativity Collection
Lifelong Bremond resident, Larry Kotch, traveled the world and brought nativity sets from each country.
His wishes were to donate his collection of 166 sets from 40 countries to the church!

House —-the Wayne and Carol Boring Home, 318 W. Colorado St.
Built prior to 1920, rumor is that this property was home to slot machines on the 2nd floor!
House —the John and Mae Tomzcesyn home, 216 E. Collins St.
Built between 1911-1916, Ms Mae lived in this home for over 40 years until her death at age 100.
She worked in her beautiful yard almost daily!
House —-the CW Brown home, 416 W. Jack St., owners Kenneth and Heather Cook
Built in the early 1900’s, the Brown family owned this home for over 75 years. Currently being restored, and has a water well in the kitchen!
House —-the George Abraham home, 302 N. Austin St.
Built in 1922, this home was far ahead of its time as it sports an open concept floor plan for large family gatherings.
This home has remained in the Abraham family for over 100 years, and is a seasonal local favorite for the spectacular Halloween and Christmas decor on display!
