Brewer Historical Society

Because of recent postings on Facebook the Historical Society finds it necessary to make this post. The Historical Society has not disbanded, it is just changing forms. Because of lack of participation it will most likely be moving under the umbrella of City. Many of the artifacts and all of documents will be going to the library so they can all be held in one place. The future hope is to create a museum in conjunction with the library. But this is a future dream. This is still all in the works no final decisions have been made at this time. Thank you for always supporting the Brewer Historical Society and when a final plan is in place we will be more than glad to make it public.

After many years of trying to stabilize membership and volunteers it has come to a point where the Brewer Historical Society can no longer offer research assistants online or in person. This summer the research material will be moving under the care of the Brewer Public Library. We are extremely thankful to the library for taking on this task. Thank you for your patience during this time.

The Brewer Historical Society and Clewley Museum would like to thank Nichols Plumbing & Drain Cleaning for their help and outstanding work on the Clewley Museum. We could not have asked for a better experience.

The Brewer Garden & Bird Club has plenty of plants, but if plants aren’t your thing, come find some bargains at our yard sale, or enjoy the delicious baked goods! 😋
