The Burt Chernow Galleries will be closed for installation from Monday, April 13, 2026 – Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Please join us on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from 5:30pm – 7pm for the opening reception of the CT State Housatonic Student Art Exhibition

There is still plenty of art to see on campus, including the show Sweet Grass: Dancing with My Ancestors, featuring the photographs of Afro-Indigenous artist, Kim Weston, and other displays.

The Less Me, More We exhibition is now on view at the Housatonic Museum of Art, featuring incredible work by the faculty and staff of CT State Housatonic.
Held in the beautiful Burt Chernow Galleries, this exhibition explores connection, collaboration, and the power of collective creativity. Each piece reflects the idea that when we shift from “me” to “we,” something meaningful happens.

🌟 Less Me, More We: CT State Housatonic Faculty & Staff Exhibition 🎨

The Housatonic Museum of Art is proud to present its annual faculty and staff exhibition featuring artists from CT State Housatonic, on view in the Burt Chernow Galleries. This exhibition celebrates the creativity, vision, and conceptual depth of our talented college community.
This year’s theme, Less Me, More We, invites artists to reflect on the importance of community, collaboration, and collective identity. In a culture that often emphasizes individual achievement, the exhibition encourages a shift toward shared experiences, mutual support, and meaningful connection. Through their work, participating artists explore how art can spark empathy, inspire conversation, and strengthen a sense of unity.
