Fine Line Studios is a non-profit art studio for adults with intellectual disabilities and special needs. Our art studio is part of the national non-profit organization, Resources for Human Development, providing support and resource assistance in nearly all areas of human services. Over the last 20+ years, RHD has been deeply involved with nurturing the artistic works of marginalized individuals
and helping them gain exposure as artists in their local, national, and international communities. At FLS, we use the arts as a tool for our clients to gain improvement in personal independence, as well as improved community presence. The result is a quality of life many of our individuals had previously been unable to achieve. We strive to help the artists we support realize their vision in virtually all manners of creative expression. Through classes in drawing & illustration, painting techniques, printmaking, ceramics & sculpture, jewelry, fibers, filmmaking, creative writing, and original music production, we allow our clients to explore their creative desires and develop their artistic skills. We also help our individuals gain access to the local community through volunteering and leisure activities, and by visiting local art museums and galleries. Our staff members we employ to support our artists come from various backgrounds in the arts, allowing us to create a vibrant, diverse, and unique culture.
