"What began as a pencil sketch, of the stunning spring flowers blooming outside my window, quickly transformed into a textured, fused glass design exhibiting the metamorphosis of a simple daffodil bulb as it transitions from bulb to blossom. We have a saying in our home: "We survive winter by remembering spring," as does this robust little flower. Deep beneath the winter snows, the bulb recalls that with the sun's warmth, it will transform into a thriving thing of beauty."- Stephanie Sharp

Have you ever wondered why certain objects are chosen to be displayed in a museum? Behind every artifact is a story waiting to be told, and this summer you will tell those stories.

Join us for a hands-on week at the museum where teens ages 14-18 will step behind the scenes to find the hidden meaning behind certain objects.

During this week, we will look beyond just how to display your objects. Some key points will be:

Object Handling
Creating a theme for an exhibit
How to write object labels
Displaying objects

We will bring all these ideas, and more, together at the end of the week when we work as a group to create our own exhibit that will be on display for all to see at the front of the museum! Then on Saturday, July 11th, bring your family to see the results of all your hard work and show it off during our Free Family Day event.

The camp will run from 10:00am-12:00pm the week of July 7-10, 2026. Registration includes all materials and a tshirt.

Extended by popular demand! The exhibit, "Eagle Village: Selected Photographs by Sheila Nadimi," has been extended until June 13th!

Based on Sheila Nadimi's book, this exhibit centers the students' artwork that definded the Intermountain Inter-Tribal Indian school. Nadimi's photographs present an unflinching and at times haunting perspective on the art, its absence, and the realities that define the landscape they inhabited. The exhibit will also feature artworks from IIS students held in the collection of the Brigham City Museum of Art and History.

Come and see the exhibit before it closes on June 13th!

Join the Glass Art Guild of Utah for this "one and done" workshop on June 6th! While the Adult Class is Sold Out, we still have a few spots available for the Youth Class!
