We are thrilled to introduce the latest addition to our gallery. Megumi Nagai’s drawings, Wedding Night and Bird with a hat, are remarkable creations inspired by her own paintings which are currently showcased in our Night Trees exhibition.

Nagai’s artistic journey has led her to create several stunning drawings, with many more to come.

The opening reception for Hiroshige’s 100 Famous Views of Edo at the Brooklyn Museum last night was fantastic. It was a delightful experience exploring the museum with our artist Megumi Nagai and Roger Coryne, as we delved into the world of nineteenth-century Edo🌳🎨

Make sure to catch a glimpse of the Hiroshige prints on display until August 4 🌸

I can understand your curiosity about the inspiration behind Megumi’s painting of Swamp. She finds solace in her favorite bench at the Ramble in Central Park, which offers a view of a serene lake teeming with various birds, plants, and hidden creatures among the lush vegetation.

This is the spot she can often be seen meditating, daydreaming, and losing herself in the moment.
