Temporary Disruptions: The Sunset Surf Club is an incubator for ideas, creativity, and connections.

It will hold bi-to-tri-monthly exhibitions of art, ranging from the traditional mediums of painting, sculpture, prints, and photography to the less conventional of fashion, multi-media, and conceptual. There will also be special events in form of performances, lectures, readings, and workshops. An event based short-term endeavor (6 months), the goal in creating these temporary artistic disruptions

is to give the participating artists maximum visibility and to fill a noticeable void in the New York City summer art scene. Exhibitions will follow from curatorial themes, developed by a range thinkers, covering topics as varied psychogeography, aquaponics, and female body image. Our ethos is fueled by fun and experimentation, so come by and hang out.
