Julia Mauri and her series “Let’s Escape to Childhood”.

Julia Mauri explores memory and identity through mirrors and brightly colored epoxy resin. Reflections shift and distort, drawing the viewer into the work and highlighting emotional vulnerability and changing self-perception. Candy-like hues evoke childhood nostalgia, while resin’s transition from liquid to solid becomes a metaphor for memories that settle and shape us. Her art invites contemplation of past and present, offering a sense of stability and harmony often lost in adulthood.

Pointillism (from the French point, meaning “dot”) is a painting technique based on applying pure colors in small brushstrokes in the form of dots or spots, without mixing them on the palette.

Amazing works by Iana Cherepansky, who uses an unusual technique in her art.

«My artistic practice is an act of meditative resistance against the speed of the digital age. With a background in CG graphics for film, I deeply felt the fatigue of endless streams of optimized imagery. In response, I turned to black-and-white pointillism, where each hand-applied ink dot becomes an act of mindful presence.»

Yana Dmitrieva is a contemporary artist who explores the human inner world—emotions, fears, tension, and the struggle for self-identification and self-expression. Her works are a form of visual reflection on how external circumstances and society’s opinions shape us, often clashing with our true desires. This inner rupture and the search for an authentic self are central to her practice.
She works with drawing (colored pencils and ink), which allows for deep focus on detail and self-observation, and with oil on canvas, chosen for its depth of color and lasting power to convey intense imagery. She is currently developing a new series dedicated to the complex relationship between a person and their inner self, turning her art into an intuitive, emotionally charged visual diary.

The watercolour series “In Search of My Phoenix” explores transformation through the image of a pink crow — delicate, unconventional, and defiantly alive. Yana Dmitrieva approaches the symbol of the Phoenix not as a myth of rebirth, but as a personal point of growth discovered in an unexpected form. These works serve as a visual journal of an inner search, where gentle tones veil the tension of change.
