There’s a new artist to discover at the Brownsville Art Center.

Doug Neve, a Lebanon woodworker, creates handcrafted pieces that highlight the natural beauty of wood — from detailed animal puzzles to turned pens and bowls. Inspired by generations of family woodworkers, each piece is shaped by the grain, color, and character of the material itself.

His work is now on display through the Brownsville Art Association at the Brownsville Art Center, 255 N. Main St.

Stop in, take a look, and see what catches your eye.

We have a few spots left for this class this Saturday, April 18, from 1–3 p.m. Register link: https://brownsvilleart.org...

Meet the Artist: Jodi Litterell of Glass Granny

After retiring, Jodi Litterell set out to find a creative outlet — and found it in stained glass.

A former math teacher, Jodi says the process feels like solving a puzzle — carefully fitting each piece together to create something both structured and expressive. What started as a simple experiment with supplies from her daughter quickly turned into a passion.

Her home filled up fast — and eventually, her family had enough stained glass gifts. That’s when Jodi began sharing her work in local galleries.

You may have met her at the Brownsville Art Association’s January all-member meeting. Inspired by designs she discovers on Etsy and Pinterest, Jodi has been creating colorful stained glass succulents and is now exploring pendants and three-dimensional pieces.

As “Glass Granny,” she’s just getting started.

Take a moment to welcome Jodi to the local art community and keep an eye out for her work.
