“Meadow With Buttercups” oil on linen 36”x48” $6k-available part of my NEW MEADOWS series I started in May. Buttercups sound like an eternity now that we are into September and that’s why I wanted to document the march of fading flowers this year. This opens at The Arthouse in Brunswick Maine 10/2/26 5-7:00 pm.

“Buttercups” oil on board in a vintage frame. 20”x28” 2k$ available. I’ve been painting meadows all summer. The show is called “NEW MEADOWS” named after a road not far from my house in Brunswick. I like the sound of it, new meadows. Mostly because meadows can’t be “new” they take hundreds of years to develop the complicated conditions that will grow the variety of plants that make up a meadow. Anyways, the show opens 10/2/26 with a reception that evening from 5-7:00 pm.
