One of today’s Featured Studio Tour Artists is Christina Bendo! She will be at Stop 21, Christina Bendo Pottery!

The Studio Tour is a two-day self-guided tour where 100s of visitors are invited into artists’ studios to meet the artist, view demonstrations, and buy art. Studios are sprinkled throughout all of Haywood County bringing visitors to diverse locales both urban and rural. 2022 will include a new first stop called the “Canton Hub.” The Hub will be located at Canton’s Sorrell’s Park. The Canton Hub is the launching pad of the Haywood County Studio Tour. Pick up your brochure, grab a bite to eat, enjoy local music, visit with participating artists, enter a raffle, and help paint a mural to benefit Haywood’s two high school art programs. Enter to win prizes! This year participants will have the opportunity to win Smoky Mountain Bluegrass Festival tickets and art door prizes donated by participating artists. Don’t miss out!

One year to grow. Two years to dry. Three years to decide what to do with it. Finally, our largest gourd that we grew is finished! Mike helps turning the African bushel gourd while I weave reed and Nantucket cane. Btw, the weaving took four 1/2 hours.

Took a great class called Ageless Yoga ( On chairs no less) with Jackie @ Nurture followed by a cup of yummy Baked Potato Soup from The Filling Station.
All in a day's work.
