Yo yo yo! The Caprons didn’t have enough time to make something specifically for the event, but they might have offered up something even better. We are going to have two raffles. Wilson is proposing an 8 hour day with him whether it be in the shop, fishing, or just storytelling. His exact words were “they’re the boss.” If you’ve never had the privilege of meeting Wilson or Mike, they are national treasures that I can’t enough good about whether it be them as men or makers. On the other hand, Mike is offering a custom 18x24 painting. He said he’ll help make one to fit decor you already have in place, or he can paint one that you want to build around. You’ll probably end up fishing and storytelling with him, too. Tickets for Wilson are $50, Mike’s are $100, there is a reserve for each raffle, you do not have to be present to win, and we will announce towards the end of our evening tomorrow. You can text me at 8065437423 if you’d like to go ahead and buy some, or we will have a table set up and will be selling them til we run out. Don’t forget to get your tickets, too! You can purchase them at the gate, but we’ll have to stop once we hit 150.

We cannot wait for Thursday! Just check out this lineup, two amazing raffles from the Capron clan, a steak dinner that has just been upgraded to a prime rib buffet from one of the best steakhouses in the country, Jarrod Morris on the main stage, cold cocktails at the cash bar, and one big night full of giving back to this lifestyle we love so much. Tickets are $65 and include dinner. You can purchase at the door or email us at [email protected]. We are capping tickets at 150 this year, so don’t hesitate!

The cowboy spirit can be defined or interpreted in many different ways. That’s why we chose Spirit of the Cowboy as the name to an event that’s sure to fill more than one corner of your soul. We are an invitational western art and gear show chock full folks who have that extra touch and use it to create mind-blowing works of art.

May 9th in Buffalo Gap at the world-renowned Perini Ranch Steakhouse we will be under the oaks appreciating a lifestyle that embodies most of us. If you will be in town already for all of the festivities at the expo center, we better see your face. If you won’t already be in town, now you have a reason to!

Gifted artists such as photographers, leather makers, silversmiths, and others have graciously agreed to show the way they translate the cowboy spirit into art. Jarrod Morris will be playing some tunes for us that you can dance to, just sit and appreciate, or sing along with. You’ll have the best steak in Texas on your plate with a cool libation whether it be whiskey or tea in your hand.

We will be coming together to promote the western way of life and give back to it. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the WRCA Foundation to support their fund that allows us to take care of our own. Whether it’s a natural disaster or an injury that prevents someone from providing for his/her family, WRCA has their back. And we want to have theirs.

This is a completely independent endeavor, and we are heavily relying on a grassroots marketing strategy. Please follow us and help get the word out.Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your dog, and tell us how many tickets you need!
