If you live in Savannah or know of someone who lives in Savannah and (you/they)want to learn how to paint or improve on acquired techniques, I am offering two classes. A beginning watercolor and a beginning acrylic painting class. They both will meet on Saturdays for 6 weeks. Starts Jan 11th. Opportunity to exhibit in a Spring Art Show at Brodie Studio and Gallery at the end of the class. Details below:

Join Us for friendship while exploring the basic techniques of watercolor painting. Draw and paint a simple yet engaging still life or bring your own objects or favorite photo to draw and paint from. Figures emerge from my intuitive play with paint. I don’t always plan for a form to appear. Many times shapes evolve into suggested or recognizable imagery that I either welcome and enhance, or completely or partially destroy. The image above is a detail of a work in progress that is about 3 feet in size. Still deciding if the figure is worthy of existence.
