Since I've written so little on this page for a few years, I thought I would let you all know how everything is going with me! I currently teach 4th grade at New Manchester Elementary, and I absolutely love it. I could not ask for a more perfect career for me. As you can see in the one photo, sometimes I get to show my designing side at school! I recently got to bring "Mr. Moe" to our school's dedication ceremony :) There is also a picture of my daughter Lauren and I. Lauren is 18 years old now, a senior in high school!! She actually fills my orders for me most of the time, which is very helpful. All in all, I'm trying my best to get more involved with the designing business now that I'm settled in to my teaching job and have all 3 kids old enough to not be considered "elementary" anymore (sniffle!). I will be trying to keep this page much more updated than it has been, so feel free to comment, message, and post! :)

I've seen several comments asking about how to place an order, so I figured I'd just post a status about it to clear things up! Almost all of my orders are placed through my website www.heidimarkishdesigns.com, and then some are placed by phone (724-947-5093). Generally, using the website is not only faster, but it also allows you to see pictures of all 230+ designs of mine! :)

I thought I could...I thought I could....Where did the summer go? To all my painting friends...I finally landed a full time job teaching 4th grade! So happy! I will not close my pattern business though, I will do what I can to keep it going during this busy time. Thanks for all your words of encouragement!
