Another quick update on what has been going on with the down sizing at culturalpatina. I am now using my wheel chair and canes to get around. The Gallery is a very lonely place. All my rugs are gone, half of my western bronze collection is going up for austion, on May the 14th, and we have just finished a major sale of all the Native America Pottery.

My health continues to fad every day. We are now thinking about making my bedroom in the front room, because we do not want to see me fall down the uper level stairs. We do have a stair lift coming done from the main level to the gallery. I fell down 5 times yesterday and this made me feel so weak and useless. I never thought the end of my life would be like this.

Before I have lay down for my daily nap, I want to wish every one around the globe a very blessed and safe Easter.

Another quick update. I had the surgery to remove the cancerious tumor on my right arm. The biopsy indicated that it was not spreading which is good news. I go in to see the oncologyist next week to see what she has to tell me. The scare is about three inches long and healing nicely.

My health contiues to get worse and I need a 3 hour nap just about this time, every day, to make it through to dinner. Linda is off to a lunch with her co workers at the nursery so I am probably going to be on my own for dinner and I do need to sign off for the day to go lay on the couch. Praying that all of you and your friends and families from around the globe have a safe and blessed day.

It has been a while and I thought you would enjoy a snap showing the incredible sunset we had in Northern Virginal a few nights back. Linda took the snap out of the front of the Gallery. Seeing this reminded me again of what is really important in life.

The downsizing of culturalpatina continues, with more items being given to trusted companies for disposition. By the middle of the year, we should have made a good dent in my expansive collection. While this is underway, I spend most of my time on the security side of the business. Depending on how the future goes, disposition of this part of the operation will take place towards the end of this year.

My health continues to dwindle. Linde got me a stairlift to help me get up and down to the Gallery. Sometimes I ride the lift because it is really cool device. Still using my cane to help me get around and have not had to use my wheel chair as of yet.

They found anouther cancerous tumor. This time, it is in my right arm and it is about an inch across. I am scheduled to go into the hospital on the 14th to have it removed. I will keep you posted on the outcome of this adventure.

Hope all is well on your side of the world. Until next time, wishing you and your family and friends a blessed night/day.

I am about ready to crash and burn, so I need to call it a day and go take a nap so that I can have New Years dinner with Linda. My down sizing continues on the Gallery so that I can meet the schedule Linda and I agreed on.

At the moment, I am deeply involved in getting my security collection ready for disposition as well. This will come to an end around the middle of 2025.

Praying that you and all of your friends and families have a safe and blessed New Year. In closing I was trying to find a poem to close out the year. It is titled "Christmas Bells" By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow 1807 –1882, It was appropriate for Christmas and I believe it is also appropriate to remember the words on New Years Eve as well, so here we go.

I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

Till ringing, singing on its way,
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime,
A chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

Then from each black, accursed mouth
The cannon thundered in the South,
And with the sound
The carols drowned
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

It was as if an earthquake rent
The hearth-stones of a continent,
And made forlorn
The households born
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

And in despair I bowed my head;
"There is no peace on earth," I said;
"For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!"

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
"God is not dead, nor doth He sleep;
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men."

Thank you again for everyone's support currently and over the past year, given this trying time. I will continue to keep everyone informed going forward into this New Year.

It has been a while since I posted an update on my Galleries, etc. All of my fading energy has been directed to try and find money to pay my bills. Since a good portion of my inventory has been placed with third parties to sell off, I do not have any to sell from this end. The only things I have left in the Galleries are Western paintings and Bronze works and my Naga Art Collection.

I now spend a good part of my day working on my extensive security section. I am now at about 1.5 years into my plan to liquidate all of my collections by the end of next year. My health contines to fade and I hope to have this finished before God takes me for my next assignment.

Linda gave me a chair lift that takes me up and down to the Gallery for a Christmas present. At first, I did not want to use it, but as I have gotten worse, using it makes my getting to and from the Gallery during the day. I believe the next item we will need to get is a hospital bed. I already have the spot picked out in the Gallery where it will go, so I am surrounded by the Spirits of the Past.

I think is about all for now. Praying that everone has a safe and blessed Christmas and Holiday Season.
