Art Center of Burlington ACB is a creative space in Southeast Iowa where imagination thrives. We inspire creativity, encourage playfulness, and foster personal growth for all ages.

Join us for art, events, and a welcoming community! Located in the heart of the beautiful historic downtown Burlington, Iowa, the Art Center showcases the works of local, and regional artists with monthly exhibits in the Gallery and one-of-a-kind artwork in the Artists Market. Children, teen, and adult art classes and workshops are offered along with special events throughout the year. The Gallery Lounge offers the finest selection of wine, beer, & charcuterie boards in a creative atmosphere on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month. The Art Center of Burlington is funded by memberships, as well as grants from Iowa Arts Council, John H. Witte Foundation, Virginia Murray Foundation, memorials, corporate sponsorships, private donations, and special fundraising events like the Snake Alley Art Fair and Battle of the Brushes. The Art Center of Burlington was founded in 1966 by a group of artists and friends with the first show at the Unitarian Church and eventually moving to its first home downstairs at the North Hill Medical Center. The very next year in 1967, the organization started the Father's Day tradition of Snake Alley Art Fair. Artists lined the alley with snow fence to hang their artwork for sale.

Meet four local teen artists who are ready to share their creativity, ideas, and unique perspectives. Teen Vice Night gives them the spotlight for ONE NIGHT ONLY to show off what they’ve been creating.

Nominated by teachers, peers, and community members, these young artists spend months developing their work, exploring new ideas, and finding their own creative voices. Then it all comes together for one night.

This is a space for teens to take the spotlight, share what they have to say, and make some noise through their art. Come see what our local young artists are creating, thinking about, and putting out into the world.

Maybe you don't know Richie, but if you're from around this neck of the woods, then you've surely heard of him, and for good reason. We're so excited to host Richie Bliesener and his trio at the Art Center of Burlington as part of Jazz In Burlington. His piano trio will delight us all with some hip musical interpretations of familiar standards, tunes you'll learn to love for the first time, and maybe even some originals.

If you've never had the pleasure of hearing this group live, it's time to come experience what you've been missing.
