Art Above Main is presenting a special artist reception this Saturday, February 8, from 5 - 7:30 pm!

The Williams High School International Baccalaureate Program invites you to see the work of their Visual Arts Seniors, Austin Croy and Ella Vaught. They have worked for over a year to produce their collections of artworks, creating in a variety of mediums, building technical skill, exploring and emulating the works of master artists all to create an exhibition of work that shares their authentic point of view.

Bring along a friend or two. Show your support for these exceptional young artists. We promise - you won't be disappointed.

Just as a reminder, Art Above Main is in the loft area of Persnickety Books, 347 South Main, Burlington.

The holidays will be over, and it will be time to relax.

Come to our artist opening reception for Beverly Dameron. Grab a beverage, enjoy the finger foods, meet many of our artists, and wonder at the professional art of Beverly's.

Beverly's Bio:

I like color, vivid color. It’s the constant in my paintings. My subjects and style may vary but the vivid color is always there. Color, like music, can alter your mood and even manipulate your thoughts. Many people like the color blue. It can possibly make you feel calm, and you might think of the ocean or a memory of being at the beach and feeling calm. Having traveled extensively I have seen how color plays an integral role in all cultures. For example, red in Asia could mean prosperity, in India it could mean purity and some countries in Africa it could mean death. It’s entertaining to me when I hear expressions like ”I’m feeling blue” or “It’s a golden opportunity” or “green with envy”. If you were to present yourself as a color, what would that color be? Why? What were you thinking or feeling? Probably many colors. I hope you enjoy my paintings as I continue to explore the language of color.
