Take advantage of today and tomorrow's reprieve from the rains to visit Appalachian Handicraft today, Saturday the 24th from 11-5 at our Burnsville location (beside Yancey Physical Therapy) OR catch a glimpse of our artists tomorrow at Sip & Shop Pop-up Gallery at Homeplace . We will have an assorted selection available from all of our vendors with several artists in attendance!

Today I am spotlighting the 3 local authors I have at Appalachian Handicraft .

Chrissy K. McVay Is the writer of "West of The Moon" & "Soul of the North Wind" , both are full of lore, excitement, adventures and twists! I'm particularly fond of the ending to West of the Moon.

Ocean Shackleton has 4 published books full of poetry and musings he finds in everyday life. Surely there is something for everyone in his words. From love, fantasy, admiration and loss his words span all of human emotion with style.

Our newest additions, from Author Jennie Boyd Bull delve into the intricacies of life as le***an, feminist and activist with the heart of a poet here in the Mountains.

All of these books and more can be found at Appalachian Handicraft. Open Tuesday through Saturday 11 to 5.
