Norbert got a little glow-up today thanks to Caldwell Fine Arts and the help of Dan Solari! If you visit Indian Creek Plaza, you may notice a few updates:

-Norbert has his head back... and has new FIRE!
-There’s also a giant pile of rocks near the tree.

Some of Norbert’s painted rocks had faded or washed away over time, and with the park's renovation still a little ways off, we need your help! Stop by, pick up a rock, give it a fresh coat of paint, and return it to Norbert.

Rocks will be available for pickup through the end of the day Tuesday.

Thanks for helping keep Norbert looking his best!

Pianist Truman Walker visited Idaho Arts Charter School for a special outreach workshop, and the students were completely captivated. From improvising a beautiful piece using five random notes called out by students to creating a mashup from three Disney songs on the spot, Truman showcased his true musical creativity!

He shared with the students that he practices up to 12 hours a day and has spent more than 10,000 hours at the piano. The students listened in amazement... What an inspiring day of music and learning!

We gathered Friday for our Annual Meeting to celebrate another incredible season of Caldwell Fine Arts!

Guests enjoyed a recap of this past season along with a preview of what’s ahead. The numbers in this year’s report tell an exciting story of outreach and community impact. We are proud of how many people were reached through our performances and outreach this year.

Rebecca Hansen received our Supporter of the Arts Award. She has served as a board member for more than 10 years, including over 4 years as an officer. Her dedication and steady support have helped shape Caldwell Fine Arts in countless ways!

Your donations help make this outreach, education, and these performances possible, and we are grateful for every person who invests in the arts in our community. Donations can be made at: www.caldwellfinearts.org

We were thrilled to raffle off the print “Tourtellotte’s Light” by local artist Kayla Cuellar Art - Watercolor Fine Art at our the Bon DeBarras performance. Congratulations to winner Hanni Hinkle, a longtime supporter of Caldwell Fine Arts and former board member.

This raffle is part of a new tradition we’re starting at every show: featuring and raffling off artwork created by local artists. It’s a fun way to celebrate the talent in our community while helping keep the arts thriving in Caldwell!

Reason #7659 that I love my job. Sitting in the Auditorium during soundcheck pretending it’s a private concert just for me!
