Our little gallery was nominated for Best Of Stanwood-Camano. We'd be so pleased if you'll cast a vote for our non-profit, volunteer staffed gallery which includes art from its members at all skill and experience levels, and is in its second year of encouraging our local teens by showing off for the entire month of May the art they've made at Stanwood High School.
Thank you for your vote by end of day 5/29. It means a lot to the people who've made the effort these last three years to bring the gallery to life.

One more weekend for the 2nd Annual Student Show!
Then the gallery takes a break for a couple of weeks, re-opening with a new CAA member exhibition called 'Backroads' running June 19 - Aug 2.

The student work is high caliber, interesting, beautiful, fun, and most of all inspiring.

Jack was a key team member of the crew who built the Camano Gateway building in the late 90’s, and is the artist who created both its original glass wall and its replacement in 2022 plus returned to put muscle power into replacing the boardwalk earlier this year.
Jack is an extraordinary neighbor.

Stanwood High School art class students are being celebrated, encouraged, and admired for the second year in a row. Between April 25 and May 30 view stained and fused glass, painting, photography, and ceramic work from our local students.

Last year’s reception was a blast- pop in for this year’s on Saturday May 2 from 4-6pm

Barbara is one of dozens of artists in the Stanwood-Camano area who are members of the Camano Arts Association CAA membership is for anyone interested in visual arts, at any level of skill or simply as an arts advocate. Members connect by volunteering at the gallery where they learn about each other’s work, or helping to get art materials into the hands of our local school students through CAA’s Materials for Art Program (formerly Mentorship Assistance Program), and supporting each other as the group puts on its annual Camano Island Studio Tour.

The Gateway Gallery shows work from any CAA Member desiring to have the public view their creation. We have master artists and beginners showing side by side- it’s about building a creative community, and engaging with the greater community.

‘Covington Frogs’ a watercolor by Holly Stafford is on display at the Gateway. And Holly will be in the gallery 12-2 today if it’s like to go say hello to the artist! She’s as fun as her paintings.

The ‘Green’ show has art and craft from many of the 2026 Studio Tour artists, and other CAA members. Altogether the show is an invitation to Spring, a promise and reminder to us all that it’s on the way!

Come in this weekend to see ‘Green’, the new CAA member exhibition. Paintings, photography, blown and fused glass, jewelry, ceramics- all made right here on Camano and in Stanwood.

For a 12’x12’ footprint, this little gallery gives you lots to look at. The 20’ stained glass wall makes the space feel much bigger.
