We are so excited to celebrate our newest member, Ed Heys, maker of fairy houses. Read all about the exquisite detail he incorporates into his houses.

Fairies are notoriously picky about their houses. Like birdhouses designed to attract a particular kind of bird, fairy houses must be situated just so in order to lure a three-inch-tallfairy to a new home. Edward Heys, of Bennington, Vermont, constructs these tiny dwellings to scale for the fairies,...

Dancing Outdoors: Mixed Media Drawings by Rebecca Zeh
May 8 - May 31, 2026

Rebecca Zeh's creative output is uniquely informed by her parallel life as a dancer. Since the age of six, she has studied improvisational dance under Lili Loveday. Her experiences dancing in natural, outdoor environments serve as a primary inspiration for her mixed-media works, which seek to translate the fluidity and spontaneity of movement into a visual medium.

Meet her and check out her work on May 9, 3-5 pm at the artist's reception for the show.

Valley Artisans Market is pleased to announce a new exhibition in our small gallery featuring the accomplished works of six regional artists.

This show offers visitors the opportunity to view new original works from Clancy King, Leslie Peck, Leslie Parke, Irene Cole, George Van Hook, and Cheryl Horning — each celebrated for their unique approach and artistic mastery.

Clancy King, with a master’s degree in painting from the University at Albany and two decades of teaching experience, is known for his traditional oil still lifes, portraits, and landscapes.

Leslie Peck, a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, brings bold animal portraits inspired by her Washington County surroundings.

Cambridge-based Leslie Parke explores light, reflection, and perception through energetic abstract paintings.

Irene Cole, based in Manchester, Vermont, has exhibited widely in New York and Vermont, drawing on her formal training from Skidmore College and the New York Studio School.

Veteran landscape painter George Van Hook’s work captures the essence of the New York and Vermont region.

Cheryl Horning’s evocative sculptures delve into the nuances of movement, memory, and human connection.

March 13th - April 5th
Meet the artist reception: Saturday March 14th, 3-5:00

This event is free and open to the public.

Valley Artisan's Market is pleased to announce a new exhibition in our small gallery featuring the vibrant works of local artist Maria Doglio. This showcase highlights the journey of a self-taught artist whose passion for painting was reignited by the landscapes and cultural richness of Sedona, Arizona.

After a 25-year hiatus, Maria found renewed inspiration in the scenery and Native American culture of the Southwest. Her return to the canvas reflects a deep exploration of identity and creativity, resulting in an eclectic style that captures the essence of the landscape. Embracing an intuitive approach, Maria allows her creative process to flow authentically—a practice nurtured by a community of visionary artists she joined upon returning to California. Now back to her New England roots, she has retired to Vermont to continue her artistic journey.
