Historic Preservation Plan Community Survey

The Cambridge Historic Preservation Commission is developing our town's first Historic Preservation Plan. Securing this plan is a critical state requirement that unlocks access to vital grant funding for local preservation projects. To build a successful plan, we need your input. Your feedback tells grantors what matters most to our residents, ensuring that future funding goes toward the places, stories, and landmarks that Cambridge values.

Every year we have the great opportunity to have the elementary school kids come in and see the museum. This year we had Sarah Borda from the Snake River Heritage Center come and talk to the kids about Martha Jane Roberts, the first known white person buried in our county. Martha even has a monument right outside the museum. Thank you Sarah for sharing your knowledge.
