See you at SAW this Saturday for art sales, open studios, live music and more! The fun starts at 1pm where you can mix and mingle with 25+ of our resident artists…think pottery, prints, and paintings galore! Then 5-8pm we welcome food truck plus live music by out back. Then hang out for the after party from 6-9pm with all the coolest kids in town.

The first gallery activation at Carbondale Arts is THIS Thursday, March 9, from 5:00-6:30pm with SAW ceramic artist Cole T. Symanski who will give a wheel throwing demo in the gallery!

Stop in and say hi to Cole and check out his beautiful vase "Cosmic Squid" (wood fired porcelain), plus more works by other SAW artists as part of our group exhibition, up through April 7.

ARTIST OPPORTUNITY: A generous grant of $5,000 will be awarded to an artist or team of artists to honor the dedicated community-building efforts of Amy Kimberly, the Executive Director of Carbondale Arts and the force behind the Carbondale Creative District. 🫶🏼🙌🏼
Projects of all types will be considered. The purpose of this grant is to support the creative imagination of how the arts shape our community, foster unity or address social justice and equity. Project outcomes should be free and accessible to all within the boundaries of the Carbondale Creative District. Applicants must have an “816” zip code. Concepts and idea submissions due July 1st. This just in: Gaijin Ramen House will be set up at SAW both Friday evening (5-8pm) AND Saturday afternoon (2-5pm)! Gaijin Noodles offers sustainably sourced, all-natural Asian street food...check out that mouth-watering menu!
