We're hiring! 🌟 Carroll Children's Museum is looking for an energetic, engaging, and responsible Experience Guide to join our team.

What you'll do: run the front desk, tidy up toys, light cleaning, and open/close the museum when needed.

Pay: $10/hour
Hours: Flexible, must be available weekday evenings and weekends

🎉 Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play is coming to Carroll Children's Museum!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
A whole day of play, included with your regular admission!

We've teamed up with amazing local partners to bring you:

📖 Story Time with Carroll Public Library — 9:30–10:30 AM
🎵 Instrument Exploration with Repattern Music — 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
🧘 Movement with Community Partners — 12:30–1:00 PM
🏃 Obstacle Course with Local H.S. Football Players — 2:00–4:00 PM
🎨 Maker Station with H.S. Students — all day
🍎 Snack Station with New Opportunities — all day
🔍 Scavenger Hunt around the museum — all day

Plus music, raffles, crafts, and more all day long!

This global celebration of play is administered by the Association of Children's Museums, and we can't wait to celebrate right here in Carroll. Bring the whole family and we'll see you there! 💜

Marcie and Amy met with Andrew today! He is a Legislative Aide to Senator Grassley! Andrew specifically works with arts and humanities issues and was back in Iowa meeting with constituents.

We had a great discussion about Carroll Children's Museum's future plans! Andrew offered sound advice and support for our organization. It's reassuring when someone new visits and fully understands the importance of what we have created and will continue to expand upon 😍

Beginning Sunday, August 23rd, Carroll Children’s Museum is switching to our school year schedule:

🗓️ Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
🗓️ Wednesday, Thursday: 4:30 – 7:30 pm
🗓️ Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
🗓️ Sunday: 12:00 – 4:00 pm

Earlier this week we wrapped up our Summer kids book club - “Story Squad”! We had lots of fun reading books, playing games and getting to know new friends
