A huge THANK YOU to all the amazing volunteers who came out to help with our spring cleaning at the museum!

We are so grateful for the wonderful mix of community members alongside our dedicated ACE committee, who helped get our buildings and exhibits ready for school visits this May.

With over 26 buildings, 100+ exhibits, and 10 acres to care for, it truly takes a team and your hard work makes all the difference.

We’re always looking for more helping hands! Whether you’re interested in working the front desk, assisting in the archives, mowing, or pitching in wherever needed, we offer flexible hours and a great way to get involved.

THROWBACK THURSDAY! From 1908 till 2014, 26 different businesses made this beautiful building home. Now it houses a local fave The Twisted Twig. This post has two challenges for you:

1. Name as many of those 26 businesses as you can.
2. Name who/what was in this building from 2014 until the The Twisted Twig bought it in 2020.

Bonus points if you can share personal memories or photos of those businesses from 'back in the day'.

Calling Iron County Artists! Help us raise funds for the museum while showing off your artistic chops! We are hoping for full sized doors! If you don't have a spare door collecting dust in your basement, shed or attic, talk to a friend, relative or neighbor! Comment below if you are looking for a door or have a door to share! Hello Iron County,

Due to the weather and out of concern for the safety of our staff and visitors, the museum will be closed today, Thursday, April 2nd.

If staff are able to make it in, please be patient as services may be limited.

As a reminder, we will also be closed tomorrow, Friday, April 3rd, in observance of Good Friday.
