Over the past several weeks as my third floor studio finally gets finished! i took over the dining room with a long awaited project. Whenever I buy a large pre-stretched canvas it comes with a small bag of 8 “canvas keys” that i’ve never found much use for since I’ve never had the need to tighten a canvas after it’s painted. But i knew someday if i stashed them away I’d figure something out. i had over 800 of them, all slightly different. the day finally came…SPA: “Aestivation” 48x72 inches, wood on birch panel.
