In a continued commitment to increasing our impact in the community and promoting cultural heritage, the Cedar Hill Museum is proud to announce our recipient for the 2026 Tower City Scholarship! This $1,000 scholarship is designated to aid a local senior student in their pursuit of higher education in the humanities.

Our honored scholar will be attending Howard University and majoring in Philosophy. This student boldly advocates for the protection of community amidst complex global issues and desires to enact change for vulnerable populations threatened by crises and displacement.

Congratulations to the 2026 Tower City Scholarship recipient, Miss Kelsey Smith!

Today is the day!! Our gallery is reopening with new exhibits! 🎉

The Cedar Hill Museum of History is proud to present Early Settlement (1846-1869) and Becoming Cedar Hill (1870-1899).

We welcome you back into our gallery to immerse yourself in pioneer stories told directly from the perspective of those who settled the region and learn how their legacy grew to influence what we have today.

Their story is OUR story.

With these exhibits, we celebrate the 180th anniversary of Cedar Hill and all that has enriched our community's local history.
