Did you guess correctly? The mystery artifact is Earl B. Delzell's Past Grand Secretary jewel!

Delzell served as Grand Secretary from 1945-1959 and Grand Master of Masons in Iowa in 1960-1961.

Happy “birthday” to the Library of Congress!

The Library of Congress holds strange treasures beyond books, including a large piece of moldy wedding cake from Gen. Tom Thumb’s 1863 wedding, numerous locks of hair from historical figures and a map of the Grand Canyon made of chocolate.
